Once Deceived - My first short film and one that was a huge learning curve. Produced during weekends when cast and crew were available. With some great locations which included Stately Homes, Farm Cottages, Country Roads, and Empty Barns.
Matt (Jamie Sims) is the son of poor farmer Frank (Richard Peachey) who leaves his home to live with the Ferguson Family. The Ferguson's are not what they seem. Everything seems to have a ulterior motive, Matt falls for eldest daughter Xavia (Victoria Turpin.) Love is a hard thing to find when you don't know who to believe. It all seems to revolve around the world of crime, drugs, drink and guns.
Young'uns - Using the original script of Once Deceived we created this adventurous and exciting short film. Best described as a hybrid of Layer Cake and Oliver! Staring Robbie Jarvis (best known as Young James Potter in Harry Potter.) This shoot included Shutting off Guildford High Street, A gun fight outside a large Warehouse, and pushing a mini up a long road.
Luke (Robbie Jarvis) is an ordinary boy who cares for his Grandma. To gain extra money Luke has turned into a master pick-pocketer. He is Spotted by Tony Montgomery (Simon Cakebread) and soon finds himself heavily involved with a criminal gang by the name of Young Guns!
Street Poet - 2 and a half minute short made for the Virgin Shorts competition. Quickly made, with a small crew in 1 location.
Stuart Rouse plays an illiterate refugee with a talent for Poetry.
Keep Out - A short film, Shot, Editted and Released in 36 hours (form the First Person on Set to the film being shown.) This production included 4 cast, and a stunt rider (Ollie Rowland who has worked on Robin Hood and Captain America.) Filmed with 2 units, a large crew, in a private forest!
Max, (Robbie Jarvis) A Moto-x rider enters a private forest for a joyride. While in there he finds more that he bargined for, the body of missing drama student Jessica Foster. (Nicola Posenser) Caught in a moral Dilemma as to what to do, Max battles with himself to do the right thing for him and for Jessica.
